Manchester United Limited
Manchester United Limited is one if not the leading financial football club in the world. Alex Ferguson is the manager of Manchester United Limited and is key to the success both on and off the pitch. With roughly 500 employees it’s a large company that generates just over 300 million USD in revenue.
Here are some little facts I got from Google Finance:
• Man U was formed in 1878 under the name Newton Heath; it changed its name in 1902.
• Malcolm Glazer owns more than 90% of the team (as if you didn’t know).
The 2005/2006 season was a successful transition season for Manchester United Limited. Chelsea must be hoping for a repeat season with their success but Manchester United Limited and the Glazers need to win something this year to firmly establish Manchester United Limited as a force on the football field as well as financially.

How do I get my podcast into iTunes?
How do I get my podcast into iTunes? Why am I asking that? Well since my last post I’ve thought about how this site can progress from the normal bloggin’ experience to a more content rich site. Then it came to me, “Why don’t I create a podcast?”
Naturally most people would be thinking why do a podcast Addam? And what have you got to talk about? But before I even thought about that I had visions of becoming the next Ricky Gervais of the podcast world. This then posed the thought how do I get my podcast into iTunes? I mean it’s the only place to be if you want the world to hear your voice.
Luckily Apple have published a technical document about how to submit your podcast to iTunes. The document has six different areas:
- Submission and Feedback Processes
- An Example Feed
- iTunes RSS Tags
- Common Mistakes
- Additional Resources
- iTunes Categories for Podcasting
I haven’t looked at them closely at all but it all seems pretty straight forward (fingers crossed). There is though an alternative for people who just have a voice and an idea. JellyCast is a company that hosts your podcast, letting you publish and transmit audio files across the world via thier service. JellyCast provide the support you need to upload, publish and broadcast your own podcast. Above all of this though Ricky Gervais uses this service as well and the network won a Guinness World Record for podcasting the Ricky Gervais podcast.
The two areas I’m looking to go in to are my poorly mixed sessions and of course me talking about rubbish. So there could be some podcasting coming here, but I won’t be doing it for a while yet. First thing first though, I need to redesign this website/blog.
Why do I blog? What should I change?
‘Well it’s been a while’, how many bloggers say that? I haven’t blogged for ages and I’m kind thinking it’s because I want to do other Internet stuff or because I don’t want to blog anymore. It could be that I haven’t got time…..or it could be because I don’t do anything anymore. Yet I think I’m having a great time in my life considering what I’ve been through in the last 6 - 12 months.
Looking at Lemon Pillows website I see how she expresses her feelings and stuff. It truly is a personal blog where as mine comes and goes with bits and bobs of stuff that interests me at one moment then bores me the other.
A lot of the so called “personal stuff” I can’t write or won’t write about. Reason? Easy ’cause people I know read this site…But wait a minute isn’t a blog for public reading? A guy from work stopped his blog a while back for ‘personal reasons’ but nevertheless put his heart on the blog for people to view.
Solution? Create a new site without telling people. My friend Simon did this. However it’s not going to work for me! Maybe scrap this site and create a website that looks and feels like I want with a Word Press bolted on the side. Essentially make it a website before a blog.
CPC through the roof! 1 click $100 bill please..well maybe not that much
A little research can go along way and CyberWrye have published a list of the Highest Paying AdSense Keywords . SearchEngineWatch.com comment on the fact that some may have been in and around the $100 mark for each click.
That is one aggressive CPC campaign!

Feed Rinse; Filter Your RSS Feeds
Filtering your feeds is a nice idea and is something I don’t actually do automatically via software. For instance I use RssReader to track/subscribe to all the RSS feeds I’m interested in. When new feeds come in I simply look at the title and decide there and then if I think it would be useful or interesting. However there is a tool named Feed Rince that enables you to “filter by; keywords, tags, author, site, profanity, and more…”, might be worth a look.

The latest bugs on IE (Internet Explorer)
I hardly ever use IE at all, instead I use Firefox for all my surfing needs. Two of the main reasons are:- Less vulnerability issues with Firefox- The ability to have tabbed browsing with Firefox
The BBC have released information about three new bugs / vulnerability issue, one of which can be used to take control of a victim’s computer.
The BBC go on to say “Those using the patched versions of IE bundled with Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 are vulnerable to these bugs. People trying out the Beta 2 version of Internet Explorer 7 are safe.”

Where is that Google Blog…there it is
It seems that Google had a small problem recently with thier official blog. No need to worry though, it wasn’t a hack on Blogger, or some other kind of vulnerability. It was simply a case of deleting ones blog?!?! Can you believe that?
