Check out the rabbit!
Awww little baby Harvey Wandsworth. Check him out
Well it’s been another long time since we spoke but I’m back and it will start properly. I’m now working in London with Spannerworks / iCrossing (No doubt people with Google Alerts might see this LOL) which lends me to have some time on the train on the way back home to clear work email and type up some thoughts etc.
Facebook is largely to blame for this as I’ve started to use that as my home on the net as it were. Well I think it’s about time I start thinking about my website again and go through another phase. Must be off, but I will be back soon.
and it’s going to be quite a while until i post another one. Well that’s not entirely true. I need to get back on this and I will do shortly. So much stuff is happening and I need to record it.
P.S. I’ve put up a new site called See The Web Directory
A quick surf around and I’ve bumped in to iSubwayMaps.com. It’s just a simple way of syncing your iPod with a map of the underground. In this case, the London Underground map for the iPod would be most useful. Haven’t tried it yet but will let you know if I do.
So it’s been a while and I’m sorry. Work has been busy of late and meeting friends and Emma has taken somewhat of a priority. Though I have a got a few minutes to write down some of my latest adventures, hmmm where to start?
The weekend before last was an interesting occasion. As I wrote last time I went out with the boys to Pressure Point. After that evening Emma came over in the afternoon the next day. After the introducing Emma to the wife aka David I quickly got changed and ready to meet up with Mark. Little did Emma know that she would meet most of my friends that day!
Walking up to Marks (aka Dad’s & Mum’s Place) Emma started to realise there could be a lot of walking involved. Though the promise of food and drink spurred her on I think. We met up with Mark and wondered in to town to have a look around. It was good to chill out and enjoy Brighton rather than using and abusing its offerings. So often I’ve got a to-do list and only interested in completing the things I need to do.
After wondering around we decided to hit the Eagle for what was a scrumptious lunch. I can’t remember exactly what the others had but I do know I had the sweetest Venison ever. The food is amazing at the Eagle! Just recently I had venison again in another food format though. Though I can’t remember exactly what is was I do know it was awesome yet again!
Mark headed home after some further wonderings around the shops and we met up with the boy Jonno. We got a couple of drinks in and both headed off home as we were all meeting again later.
A quick shin dig and some vodka lemonades Emma and I were back up to Marks place to meet Jon. We got a couple of drinks at his decided to hit the pub. We went to this pub called The Couch I think. It wasn’t long before Tom joined us at the pub as well which was cool. Tom has the ability to talk or create great conversation. A skill I would like to have. A few beers, maybe one too many actually, and we were off to Jon’s place to throw some shapes in his lounge. Rudely interrupting Dan’s evening (sorry) we spent the rest of the night playing tunes and having a few laughs.
It really was a great day, Emma got to see my good mates from Brighton and I got to enjoy another night out with the lads (and the lady of course).
The Amazing Adventures of Dangerous Dave? Who is he? What does he do? Well it’s Jonny’s new site and I’m hoping he’s gonna start adding to it soon. He’s made a great start with the Jesus Army bus - the only way is up from there.
Well actually I’m playing with her Wii. Today I went with Coatsy, Dan and Jon to see the new Nintendo Wii. I had a go on it and I have to say was very impressed. It wasn’t so much of the graphics as it was more of a demonstration of how the controller can work etc. Anyway it was a bit of fun!
At the moment I’m listening to Annie Mac’s latest show and I found a link to her photo section on flickr. Some of the photos are fantastic, check them out for yourself
O.k P Diddy does make me laugh but I do like some of his music. So when you look on You Tube the marketing boys from Bad Boy Records have put some video of P Diddy working on his new album called Let’s Play. The last video they put up is P Diddy doing his little speech as shown below:
Now here’s the funny thing. The P Diddy video is not doing so well in terms of ratings. Basically the comment is hate related and the star rating is poor. A guy has made a spoof video, located below, which I guess is probably doing the rounds far more than P Diddy’s video and is actually getting some fantastic praise. However when I think about the social web and how it works, has this piece of spoof / piss taking if you will been in P Diddy’s favour? For instance, I’m only writing about it now becuase of the spoof video. Just a though…Enjoy the video, but make sure you watch P Diddy’s first.
After a heavy weekend for both of us David decided to do a couple of stretches to ease the pain he has been having in his leg. Though I don’t like to see people in pain, David is an exception when it’s this funny!
Weekend review coming soon by the way but for now check out the photos.
