Bye bye Hastings and Blogger. Hello Brighton and Wordpress…

We are your friendsIt’s been a long time since I last posted. Sorry for that, but I’m sure you’ve all been crazy, manic, and all over the place to since my last post. The main things that have happened since my last post is the fact that I have moved to Brighton and I’m no longer in a full time relationship. How do I feel about both? Well of course I miss them both for different reasons. Let’s start with Hastings to Brighton…

Since getting a job based in Brighton I’ve always wanted to move over. The nightlife and people are fantastic. It was always a sad moment for me to have to get the train back to Hastings when the night seemed young and full of promise. Fridays were the hardest times to go home. So now? Well the weekends seem shorter and don’t seem to stop. In fact it would come to no surprise to me in the near future if I go to work on a Friday morning with a backpack full of fresh clothes and find myself back there Monday morning having not stopped partying. Then again, I think I’m a little more responsible than that, or am I? Or have I done that already? Sometimes when I get in to work it’s a relief to get back to normal life. In summary life since moving has be pretty good and the search for more good times continues. Though there are some things I do miss, my brother, mother, my niece and nephew. I miss them so much and it’s hard to see them in photos, especially my nephew as he starts to grow in character. I do miss you guys and I’m sorry I don’t keep in touch as much as I should do.

Cheesy KellyOn to the other big change in my life my last relationship. Kelly as some of you would know is my last full blow long-term relationship thingy. Most people would know I’ve been in a series of serious relationships since the age of sixteen or seventeen, all of them providing fantastic memories! I really haven’t had a break in between any of my relationships until now. Now I’m free, single and happy about it. Of course a little company would be great, but I’m not looking for anything serious with anyone new. Saying that, there are a few people I wouldn’t mind starting something with but that would be telling. So at the moment nothing is really happening except for a few laughs and some innocent flirty stuff. At this time I think it would be a good opportunity to say that I’m available for dating and enjoy free food and beer (only female apply).

Right that’s pretty much the transitional update done, look forward to getting back to normal blogging mode soon.

Brighton to Brighton via London and Hastings (Part 1)

It has been a really crazy bank holiday weekend. It started off so slow then….BANG! I didn’t stop. Let’s start as ever from the begining…

Alrighty then, I booked off the Friday and Tuesday to extend my bank holiday weekend just that little bit further. Friday was a relaxing, or a recouperating day should I say? Dave and I went off the night before on a bit of a fun time drinking session which ended up hitting the Honey Bar and Club. Like the light weights we can be on drink we ended up a little drunk too fast and went home about 12-1′ish. The previous night’s activities included dancing, chasers, and much stupidty. Having the Friday free was a lifeline that I knew I could rely on, unlike Coasty who I’m told managed fine at work. So Friday detailed me watching the 4400, which some folks will know I’m currently addicted to. I love this program so much it’s untrue. I’ll go in to this another time, but if you like the 4400 you’ll know what I mean. For one thing…Doh! Another time. Where was I?…Ah yes so Friday was my 4400 and tidying up day. Oh and I got a yummy Indian in the late evening and yes I’m talking about food.

Saturday, the day the Mini Hassan Tour started. Cricket was on and it was Fanatastic! Sussex played Lancashire in the C&G Trophy final. It was such a good game, it really was. You can read more about the Final on the BBC website. That lasted pretty much all day until about 6.30 I think. During the day though Mark aka Raymondo, had been kind enough to invite us and a c ouple of the other lads to house party. Game as ever, and considering how good the last house party I went to with Mark, there was no way I wanted to miss this! Just to be clear this was Mark and Sarah’s friend’s house party. Practically we’re family :)

Just before going David was giving me the ‘I can’t be bothered’ speech etc. until I mentioned the fact that there could be a small chance of a girl or two there and we could make some new friends. Before you know it, he’s ready and walking up to the off license. Excited as ever, we got round to Mark and Sarah’s pad where we said we would meet Dan and Will before heading off to the party. I thought it would be best to go to the party with someone the host would know ’cause house party hosts can quite rightly tell you to bugger off if you’re trying to blag it in, and quite rightly so!

Finally, after Will picking up some booze and a little bit of walking we got to the party and wow what a flat. Right in the center of the Lanes and such a good looking place inside. The best or most interesting part of the flat had to be the main room, which had a Pole dancers pole placed pretty much in the centre.

The night was pretty interesting and went on for what seemed a few hours but in realtiy finished at nine in the morning or something like that. During the night I met up with some fantastic people from London. Marvin, Emma, Mike, Matt and Emile. Everyone who was left at the party went to the beach. We sat down and enjoyed the view and chilled for a while. It was excellent to appreciate living by the sea once more. More to follow…
